Natural breast augmentation using autologous fat transfer

A patient who was always unhappy with her flat chest has recently received breast augmentation procedure at Hershe Plastic Surgery. BEFORE & AFTER

Post Management

1. You may experience some pain with light bleeding, swelling and bruise for a couple of days after the surgery.
2. Place an ice pack for 3~4 days after the surgery, then switch to a hot pack after that.
3. The suture will be removed after 7 days. You can wear makeup after removing suture.
4. Do not remove bandage, cast or cottons inside your nose voluntarily without consulting your doctor.
5. Avoid strenous exercise for 3 weeks after the surgery. Light walk is recommended.
6. Avoid sauna or public bath for 3 weeks after the surgery. Take light shower at home is recommended.
7. Do not blow nose vigorously for 2 weeks after the surgery.
8. Only take pain killer and anti-biotic prescribed by the doctor.
9. Drinking and smoking is not allowed for 3 weeks after the surgery.
10. Start wearing eye glasses or sunglasses 3 weeks after the surgery. If the osteotomy is performed during the surgery, start wearing them after a month.

Calf Botox Injection for Slender and Sexy Legs

#1   Calf Botox Injection

There are such surgical procedures such as a calf nerve block and muscle recession that can improve thick calves, which often trigger a rejection reaction. Instead, non-surgical Botox injection is gaining its popularity lately. Botox is injected around the calf muscles to supress the secretion of acetycholine, a neural transmitter that helps reducing the amount of muscles. As it selectively reduces the volume of muscles on the desired area, it effectively reduces the knots in the calves. Botox can be injected to the muscles on both outer and inner calves. The muscles loosen up 3~4 weeks after the injection and the bulgeness on the calves gradually reduced.

The effect of the injection starts to kick in 1 month later, and last for 3~6 months, thus, one should get another injection 6~12 months after the previous one.

You should also make sure that only a correct dose of certified Botox will be administered to the calves to achieve definite results under safe circumstance.

Patients stand on their toes with their heels up so that the calf muscles are contracted and the doctor can see the status of the muscles.

#7   Post Management

- Swelling, bruise around the injected spot and a little itchness will naturally disappear.

- The injected spot may feel stiff temporarily after injection.

- One should not lie down for 3~4 hours after injection and keep the injected spot away from water for 4 hours.

- One should not massage the injected spot and avoid hot sauna for about a week.

- One should neither engage in strenous leg exercise for 10 days nor wear high heels for long hours.

What makes beautiful nose? It’s a nasolabial angle!

The nose influences entire facial impression because it is located in the center. Many people visit our clinic to consult about their nose. While seeing many patients, I have seen a variety of nose such as a downturn, an upturn, or a flat nose. Compared to past, I have realized that patients are getting more interesting in correcting the shape of a nose than simply enhancing its height.
The ideal nose generally possesses two specific ratios of distance: the equal distance between the wing to the tip of the nose, and 1 to 2 ratio between the distance from the wing to the tip of the nose and the length of entire nasal bridge on the lateral view. However, the beautiful nose is defined by the balance between the nose and entire faces, not just by specific dimensions such as size, width, and height.
Especially, the nasolabial angle, an angle between the nasal septum and the philtrum, is probably the most important factor to decide whether a nose is beautiful not.

The nasolabial angle is not the absolute, but it is usually said that 100 to 105 degree for women and 90 to 95 degree for men are believed to be the most ideal for Asian nose. In addition, the nasolabial angle affects not only the nose, but also the beauty of an oral structure. The ideal nasolabial angle creates a slightly upturned nose and enhances a beautiful line from a nose to lips. While the flat line of a nasal bridge is an ideal shape for men, the women’s nose should have two different shapes, slightly convex shape in the middle of nasal bridge and concave shape on the tip of the nose.
