Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine was creating a foundation for attracting regional patients as well as increasing the awareness of Korean medicine by participating the ‘Korean medical tourism promotion in Vietnam’ held in Hanoi, Vietnam.This promotion held at Daewoo Hotel, Hanoi during the 2 days from April 1st to 2nd was hosted by the Korea tourism organization to expand the favorable image of Korea increased by the Korean waves. This was regarded to be successful with 300 participants including regional medical centers, agents for medical tourism and patients for consultation and counseling via on and off line arranged by Korean domestic medical institutions.
Especially, the promotional booth for superiority of the non-surgical spine treatment and treatment program introduction gained enormous attention of visitors. This regional interests is originally generated by the , a popular local health TV program broadcasted for 3 times by last January 7th, 14th and 21st. It can be regarded that local people were mainly influenced by the introduction of medical show and non-surgical spine treatment as Dr. Shin, Joon-Shik of Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine and Raimund Royer of international clinic. Through the broadcasting, the 30 patients who were willing to experience the medical service of Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine have had counseling with Dr. Royer and most of them expressed their willingness to visit the medical center, thus this was taking a major role as a place for attracting actual medical tourists.
As initiating with this promotion, Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine will continually promote the superiority of non-surgical spine treatment in Vietnam.
