Myongbo Hong, the best defender in the history of soccer and a current manager of the Korean National Soccer team, visited Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine on Mar. 8, 2011. Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine has had a special relationship with Mr. Hong. Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine signed agreement for the sponsorship with Hong’s Foundation of Soccer Education years ago and also sponsored as a medical support in many soccer games.
During the visit, Hong got medical diagnosis and Chuna manipulation by Dr. Joonsik Shin. After the treatment, Dr. Shin prescribed ‘Kwanjeol-Go,’ an herbal medicine for joints for Hong. ‘Kwangjeol-Go,’ a joint patch, is consisted of herbal products. It has shown great efficiency with not only muscular inflammation, swelling, but also arthritis including rheumatoid or degenerative joint disease (DJD). Hong said, “Since I had played soccer for a long time, I often have pain on my knee joints. ‘Kwangjeol-Go’ always works great on my joint pain.”
On Mar. 27th, the Korean National Soccer Team, managed by Hong, will play their first game against the Chinese National Soccer Team. All staffs in Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine will always support Hong and the Korean National Soccer Team.
