Have you heard of Taekwondo? Have you seen it? It is a popular martial art in Korea and an event at the summer Olympic game. Kukkiwon offers a year-round martial art festival. The Kukkiwon, located in Gangnam-Gu, is the World Taekwondo Headquarters and the World Taekwondo Academy as well.
The Taekwondo performance for visitors will be performed by professional martial artists every Monday and Saturday at 11:30, twice per a week, from March to November, 2011. The Korean's traditional martial art Taekwondo aims not only to acquire power and skill for self-defense but to perfect oneself with the character of devoting one's life to the safequard of justice, of respecting the responsibilities and of embodying the thought of universal equality.
