What causes underarm sweat?

Underarm hyperhidrosis is esthetically unpleasant and also accompanies odor, making one’s social activities difficult. It can be treated easily with botox. Botulinum toxin in botox suppresses the secretion of acetylcholine(Ach), and prevents the stimulation of sweat glands by inducing muscle contraction. Botox injection treatment takes 10~20 minutes. You can start to feel the effect from 2 weeks after the injection, and it lasts for 6~12 months.
Hands & Feet Hyperhidrosis
Though botox treatment is also effective, Iontophoresis(a.k.a. Electromotive Drug Administration-EMDA) is commonly practiced for hands & feet hyperhidrosis. Iontophoresis is basically an injection without the needle. You need to visit clinic 1~2 times per week for 20-minute treatment. Repeat the treatment for 4~8 times to see the effect.
